Starting off 2010 with something nice. On March 1 Sam Amidon will release the follow up to his terrific 2008 album All Is Well. His new record, I See The Sign, will be released through Bedroom Community and features contributions from Beth Orton & Nico Muhly, among others. As on All Is Well, the new material is comprised mostly of re-workings of folk songs from the public domain. “How Come That Blood”, with its gently buzzing electronic undercurrents and pitter-patter percussion, is a fine synthesis of both Amidon‘s experimental and traditional tendencies.
