Tokyo Police Club were apparently quite the blog sensation a few years back with a pair of well received EPs. Me though, I’d never heard a note before being sent this new single. [joke about living 'in a cave' edited out]. I thought they were going to sound like an Asian Interpol or something (my bad), and I just didn't think the world needed another one of those bands. This song's from their upcoming debut full length, Elephant Shell, which will be released by Saddle Creek on April 22. It’s taut, tight, and catchy, and sounds familiar (in a good way) and not at all like Interpol. Color me impressed.MP3 :: In A Cave
